The Danish word that has become more popular in recent years, is a way of being and a way of turning ordinary days and moments, into a feeling of extraordinary presence, comfort, and togetherness. The closest related word (while not directly translatable to English) is ‘cozy’.
I was inspired by Scandinavian culture after living in Denmark and embracing this lifestyle in my own life. It has influenced my design aesthetic, the way I connect with others, and my approach to wedding planning. Many couples can feel overwhelmed with the process of planning a wedding and consumed with all the details and looks for the big day. At Behind the Veil Weddings, we put emphasis on those details and make sure that they are purposeful, meaningful, and authentic to you. Your wedding day is as much about what it looks like, as what it feels like.
We strive to ensure all our wedding couples have a wedding day that is as breathtaking as it is comfortable. We will make all of the details happen, so you can relax and experience the feeling of togetherness that your wedding celebration is all about.
